The nanoFlash and Flash XDR are designed to dramatically improve the quality of your images by using the high-quality, uncompressed images that are available on many cameras via the HD-SDI, SD-SDI and HDMI outputs. The Sony EX1/EX3, Canon XL H1 and other cameras produce very nice images. But much of the quality is lost when recording “in-camera”. With a nanoFlash, or Flash XDR, your images can be dramatically better.

THE LERRO SOLUTION:

Lerro designed and built a system with the most reliable display wall technology in which to visualize real-time system data. Utilizing 50″ DLP display cubes and a high-end, hot-swappable display wall processor, nine display walls were strategically placed through out the company’s coverage area. These walls, totaling 84 cubes, ranged from 3×2 to 4×3 configurations. In this 24/7/365 environment, the combination of the DLP projection and hot-swappable processor allows operations to function with virtually no down time.

The University of Delaware needed to create six high-tech virtual classrooms on three of their campuses located throughout Delaware.

THE LERRO SOLUTION:

Videoconferencing was the logical solution. Within each of these six classrooms, Lerro installed integrated Polycom high-bandwidth codecs, teacher student cameras and wireless microphones for the instructors. Each classroom location has it’s own LCD monitor which allows the students to view high-resolution graphics from the far end of the room. All six of these rooms were installed and tested during the University’s short summer break. The University can now offer students the opportunity to enroll in several classes without having to make the trip to the main campus.

To create a State-of-the-Art High-Definition (1080i/720p) Corporate Communications TV Studio located in the new Comcast Corporate Tower in Center City Philadelphia. The installation time line was compressed and needed to be finished within 30 days of receipt of the order. The studio function is to aid in communication with thousands of Comcast employee on a daily basis.

Along with the end-user, our engineers and management staff developed the area’s premier High-Definition corporate studio.  Using Sony cameras, a Ross switcher, Avid CG, Harris server and routers, we installed and trained the Comcast staff within the 30 day timeframe allowing them to begin production on time and within budget.
